The MiVue 480D is a simple to use, dual-lens in-car video camera that is designed to record everything that is happening in front of and behind your vehicle as you drive. Just because the 480D is easy to use doesn't mean that it is lacking in any features or functionality! Read on!

The MiVue 480D dashcam front camera records video in stunning 1296p Super HD (2304x1296), which is beyond even the 'gold standard' of 1080p resolution. The 480D's secondary camera (which is typically used to point out the rear windshield of your vehicle) records at slightly lower resolution, but not by much! The rear camera is still at Full HD 1080p resolution! If you're only interested in a front-facing camera, check out the Magellan MiVue 420, which is essentially the same as the 480D, minus the secondary rear camera.

The 480D provides drivers with security and peace of mind by capturing unexpected events while on the road and inside the vehicle with the included rotating mount (you can rotate the front camera from pointing forward to facing out the driver side window, for example). The vibrant 2.7" hi-definition LCD display makes it easy to play back and watch recorded footage on the unit, and the built-in battery means you can even remove the 480D front camera from the windshield and record videos or pictures outside of the vehicle for up to an hour if necessary (for taking still photos of any damage or paperwork). The MiVue 480D comes with an intuitive user interface making it simple to access the many possible options (but you don't have to touch any of the advanced options if you don't want to) and, once plugged into your vehicle's power connector, begins recording in a continuous loop.
